I bought one of these a couple years ago, without the snake, and I absolutely love it. It is comfortable to shoot, accurate and beautiful. My only regret is not getting it with the inlaid snake, but maybe on the next one... I did experience the screw on the loading gate jam the cylinder once, but a little loc-tite and a few hundred rounds later there hasn't been an issue. Love this gun and expect to buy many more from Cimarron. (Posted on 10/23/2016)

As a 38 special it fires great, and I like it better than my 357 Blackhawk, It's more fun to shoot, and I feel proud when I take it to the range. Sort of terrifies the shooters there when I take it out of the gun rug. I really laugh inside about that. All the hot shots with there AR'S are in awe at this revolver. Have a Inland M1 carbine but "the man with no name" is still my favorite. (Posted on 9/7/2016)

I've always been a fan of the 1851 cap and ball when this one came out I bought it , the first one without the snake, a few years back my wife shot it and said this one is hers, dang it so I had to buy another the 2nd one has the snake I have to say it's my favorite gun to shoot and is very accurate, all my friends want to trade my one of their guns for mine or sell it to them, nope I tell them to get your own and several have. I'm comfortable out to 100 yards with it and can prove it . I've shot 38 S&W 38 long colt and 38 special all been very accurate. I've even carried it with my CHL on a shoulder holster rig. I have not had any mechanical issues not even with TE loading gate I've been thinking about picking up a 3rd one to be a safe queen. I have nothing but praise for this firearm. I replaced the loading lever with a solid one with ease I did this cause I want to use a brass rod on metal instead of metal on metal, the brass rod slides in on the back of the holster and is not in the way. If you get one you want be disappointed (Posted on 8/6/2016)

I purchased this revolver on 2/17/2016. Great fit, smooth action, very nice bluing & c/c. Maybe a little pricey but that is because of the Serpent on the right grip. Love it. Clint would be proud! (Posted on 3/15/2016)

I bought one about six years ago. Nice quality 99% to exact specs. Not only is it a great wall hanger this piece shoots well and is accurate. Buy one see for yourself. The only thing that could be improved was to show this firearm more in the movie. The Good, Bad & Ugly movie does not give it true justice. (Posted on 1/11/2016)

I don't own many guns (5 all together) but this gun is my favorite. it's a bit pricey but if I could only have 1 gun, it would be this one. It's simply beautiful to look at. It's my 2nd most accurate gun (hard to beat the ole S&W 22A-1). It's fun to shoot and easy to disassemble and clean. I will admit not as easy as ole "Blondie's" in the G.B. & U. but easy enough. I have not had any issues with the load gate or anything for that matter. I had Allan at Old Pueblo Saddle Company make me a "suede-out" holster and belt for it that looks just as good as the gun and yes I do walk around the house with it on. (Posted on 7/21/2015)

After being on a waiting list for about 3 1/2 months, my "Man With No Name" revolver came in today. I must say, it was well worth the wait! The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was this gun's stunning beauty. A work of art, really. I have already put a half a box of ammo through it, and I notice something else: Not only is it beautiful, its deadly accurate! As a huge Clint Eastwood fan, and as someone who appreciates fine fire arms, I'd highly recommend this gun. (Posted on 4/16/2015)

I bought this gun a year ago and absolutely loved it! It is incredibly accurate and durable not to mention a work of art as well. The first time I saw Clint Eastwood in his spaghetti westerns I was around 7 or 8 years old and wanted a gun just like his so badly. My only issue with my gun is that the load gate screw kept unscrewing on its own and locking up the cylinder. I had to take it back to the dealer who put some liquid lock tight into the gate screw but then tightened it too much so now it takes just a little extra effort to open the gate to load but not enough to complain about it. I love the gun and enjoy the fire out of shooting it regularly! (Posted on 9/8/2014)

This is the one gun in my collection that gets noticed. Fun to shoot and accurate.
Only problem I have is the loading gate pivot screw backs out over time. Just a small amount of "back out" and it locks up the cylinder! Takes a bit of time to figure out since it works fine unloaded but the screw hits on the base of the cartridge and refuses to rotate. (Posted on 4/6/2014)

I bought this gun about 8 months ago and really love it. I originally had an issue with the gate screw getting loose and prohibiting the cylinder from turning but got that resolved. It is a beautiful piece and a blast to shoot (no pun intended). It is also incredibly accurate. A bit pricey but am happy I bought it! (Posted on 1/22/2014)

I bought this item used for $350.00 3 years ago and have nothing but praise for the Uberti Co. However, I had the same issue with the wedge, and resolved it by using a bamboo skewer and a small rubber mallet. (Posted on 10/12/2013)

I do not own any revolvers but this will be the first!!! My brother in law has one and I used it at the range. Fires and handles like a dream. I am a big "the good the bad and the ugly" fan so it's a must for me. Can't wait till I finally hold my own in my hands!!! (Posted on 9/7/2013)

Very good working replica of the exact gun Clint used in the movie. The only issue I have had is with the barrel wedge. The hole on the barrel doesn't quite match the one on the arbor. I feel a trip to the gunsmith will easily fix this concern but for the price it shouldn't have been a problem to start with. That being said this gun looks, feels and shoots great! Hands down the most accurate pistol i own. The snake in the handle looks damn good too! (Posted on 5/26/2013)

Frequently Asked

Cimarron FAQs

 Are they real?

Yes, all Cimarron Firearms actually fire.

 Can anyone order from Cimarron?

Cimarron Firearms can only sell cartridge firearms to FFL licensed dealers.  To find a dealer in your area, please use our dealer locator.

Percussion firearms can be ordered directly from our website.

Can I use _____ ammunition in my Cimarron Firearms?

We recommend that you shoot only standard over the counter ammunition that meet SAMMI specification’s, http://www.saami.org/.

Shooting any ammo like +P or reloads will void the warranty on the gun.

Cimarron Firearms does not have any plans to make any gun’s that shoot +P ammunition.

What makes Cimarron Firearms different as an importer?

Cimarron Firearms worked closely with Uberti in the 80s to completely change the look and feel of the replica firearms you see offered by many companies today.  For more information on this, visit our page Why Cimarron is the Best Buy.

 Is there a minimum order?

No, we do not require a minimum to order directly from us.

Do I have to put money down to put something on backorder?

With the exception of customized guns, your firearms dealer can place something on backorder with no money down.  Keeping up with demand is one of the biggest challenges Cimarron faces.  The factories we work with simply cannot keep up with the demand for our firearms.  If you (the customer) are interested in something, have your local dealer call us or send us an email, and we will get you placed in the queue for that item.  When the gun comes in, we’ll call your dealer to see if you still want it.

How long will it take to get my gun once I order it?

This varies a lot per model, depending on the supply and demand of it.  Most items are delivered in 30 days to 6 months, depending on how many dealer orders are on file and how many firearms are on order from the factories. Special orders and customized guns can take longer.

Why is it taking so long to get my gun?

Cimarron spends a great deal of time working with the factories it partners with to try to keep up with the demand of our guns.  Unfortunately, this is not always possible.  Due to the craftsmanship and production demands placed on the factories, production schedules and, thusly, deliverables on what we have ordered, can oftentimes get delayed.

 What is Cimarron Firearms’ warranty?

Cimarron means quality and we stand behind our product.  Please visit our warranty page for more info.

Do you ship guns outside of the U.S.A.?

Unfortunately, Cimarron does not ship outside of the United States.  We can, however, ship parts, leather, and display boxes to Canada through these distributers:

www.wolverinesupplies.com

www.countryclassics08.com
