Competition Models

Cowboy Action Shooting demands speed, smoothness, and dead-on reliability, and Cimarron's Competition Models are purpose-built to deliver all three. Developed in partnership with top shooters, this lineup includes the Thunderball and Thunderstorm models along with the Evil Roy Competition series, named for and tuned alongside one of Cowboy Action Shooting's most legendary champions. Headlining the category is the Arizona Ranger Big Iron, offered in multiple barrel lengths from 4.75" to 7.5" and in both standard and nickel finishes, giving competitors the exact balance and sight picture they need to shave tenths of a second off their stage times. Manufactured by Uberti to tight competition tolerances, these single action revolvers feature tuned actions, smooth triggers, and enhanced sights that stock frontier-style revolvers simply can't match, while still retaining the classic look required for traditional cowboy matches. Whether you're a seasoned SASS competitor chasing a state title or a newcomer looking to step up from a standard Model P, the Competition Models category gives you a genuine edge without sacrificing period-correct style. Custom Shop tuning and finish options let you dial in your rig even further. Gear up for your next match — explore the Competition Models collection today.
